A cluster of cylindrical towers on Shenzhen Bay, tied together by an elevated ring promenade - a form that reads best from the air, on a site people will only ever experience from the ground. The set works both scales: the ring seen from above and across the water, then eye level, where the podium meets the promenade and the towers become the backdrop to an ordinary afternoon. The ring leads every frame. Once it enters the composition everything organises around it, so each view came down to one question - where to stand for it to close.
